How to get there
How to get there from Barcelona?
To get to Sant Llorenç de la Muga from Barcelona, follow these directions:
- Take the AP-7 motorway north towards Girona/France.
- Continue on the AP-7 for approximately 120 km, until exit 3 Figueres Nord – AVE.
- Once you leave the motorway, follow the signs for Llers and take the GI-510 road towards Terrades and Sant Llorenç de la Muga.
- Continue along the GI-510 until you see the signs indicating the way to Camping La Fradera, which is on the left, 1 km from the town of Sant Llorenç de la Muga.
The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, enjoying spectacular landscapes once you enter Alt Empordà.
How to come from France?
If you are coming from France, follow these directions to easily reach Camping La Fradera:
- Take the A9 motorway south towards Spain and cross the border.
- Continue on the AP-7 motorway towards Barcelona/Girona.
- Take exit 3 (Figueres Nord) to leave the AP-7.
- Once you leave the motorway, follow the signs for Llers and take the GI-510 road towards Terrades and Sant Llorenç de la Muga.
- Continue along the GI-510 until you see the signs indicating the way to Camping La Fradera, which is on the left, 1 km from the town of Sant Llorenç de la Muga.
The journey from the border is approximately 30-40 minutes, enjoying natural landscapes and a peaceful route.
Can it be reached by public transport?
You can reach the Camping first by train to Figueres and then by bus to the town of Sant Llorenç de la Muga. You can check the train schedules at Renfe , and the availability of buses with the company Sarfa on the Albanyà-Figueres-Albanyà route.
