This week there is an excursion scheduled to go up to the Castellar de N’Hug, an excellent meeting!

The schedule is as follows:

• Departure at 08h from Sant Llorenç de la Muga (08: 15h from Terrades)
• Breakfast stop (not included in the price)
• Visit to Castellar de N’hug and the springs of the llobregat.
• Lunch at the restaurant Santa Barbara de Sant Corneli.
  • Menu:
    • Trays with salad, roasted pepper, ham and sausage wood.
    • Mixed paella or stew with pot meat.
    • Pork foot, veal with mushrooms or rabbit with garlic and oil.
    • Brunyols of the house with muscatel.
    • Coffee and anise or cognac.
    • Bread, wine, water and a bottle of cava.
• At 4.30 pm visit to the Cercs Mines Museum in the Sant Corneli colony. (Duration 1’30h approx.)
• Return to the starting point.

Sant Llorenç is an endless source of creative activities that enables us to have a different weekend! This Sunday, 2nd RATAFIA WORKSHOP in La Societat La Fraternitat. A workshop for lovers of the Catalan cuisine and the tradition of a typical wine from our lands: the ratafia! Join in!

This Sunday, June 11, there will be a pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Terrades!

For those who wish to make an excursion on foot to the Sanctuary, the starting point is in the town square at 9am. There will be a stop for breakfast during the tour (breakfast must be brought).

At 12 noon the mass will take place and at 2/4 of 2 pm there will be a popular lunch at the Restaurant La salut de Terrades. (Menu - Price 19 €: Varied snack, salads and according to choice: seafood or meat or fish. Bread, wine, water and cava. Desserts and coffee).

Today begins in Girona an impressive cycling festival brought from the heart of Europe. The Sea Otter Europe comes to our region as the biggest cycling event in our continent! For three days (2-3-4 June) this festival will host all kinds of activities for all ages: sporting events -for elite athletes and amateurs-, exhibitions, merchandising, activities and much more!! Coordination with local and sport authorities has been essential in this festival which includes plenty of activities organized by GEiEG, Tribiketrainer, Cicloturisme.com, Spinatura, among others.
