The Girona Temps de Flors Festival will take place from 13 to 21 May, where an entire city participates together to decorate its streets with floral arrangements and all kinds of visual decorations!

During this week the train station Renfe offers a discount to get to Girona, informate’n here!

This Sunday there is a pilgrimage to the oratory of Sant Ponç, Sant Llorenç de la Muga. Special opportunity to know the most hidden points of our places at this time to remember the traditional religious outings that historically occurred in our town.

Day: May 14 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Starting point: The rally will be at 2/4 again in the morning in Plaça Carles Camps.

On arrival in Sant Ponç there will be a prayer to the Saint and then a popular breakfast for all attendees.

On the City Council's website we find this little explanation of the celebration in question: “Located at the highest point of the municipality, at 647 mts., The oratory of Sant Ponç is located in the middle of an oak forest, where some clearing allows to see the town of Sant Llorenç. Every year, coinciding with dates close to the day of Sant Ponç, May 11, in the town hall with the collaboration of the residents of Sant Llorenç de la Muga, they organize this pilgrimage to the oratory of Sant Ponç ”.

Ja tenim aquí el bon temps i amb ell arriben un munt de curses per els amateurs i aficionats als esports! Si sou adictes aa la llibertat de córrer i al plaer de poder fer-ho a la muntanya, llure d’asfalts i passos de peatons, aquí tenim la Cursa de la Cirera de Terrades.

El 4 de juny toca equipar-se per recórrer les muntanyes de la nostre vall i disfrutar amb les famílies d’aquesta magnífica trobada de la qual en som patrocinadors. La cursa constarà de dos trams, el curt de 13km i el llarg de 18. Tant si sou corredors com caminadors, el valor de passejar entre aquests boscos no es medeix en nivells ni en anys! No us ho penseu més, i apunteu-vos a l’aventura. Incripcions obertes fins el 3 d’abril.

We already enjoy a good weather here so it is time for all the races that take place on this time of the year. This is for you sport fans! If you are addicted to the freedom of running and the excitement on the mountain races, the Cherry Race of Terrades is made for you.

Prepare yourself to have fun crossing the mountains of our valley and enjoying with your family this fantastic day. This celebration always takes place before the summer comes, and because of its popular and positive nature we are really proud to be sponsors of this event once again. The race will consist of two paths, the shortest of 13 km and the largest of 18 km. Whether you are walkers or runners, the value of walking among these forests is not measured in levels or years! Do not think it twice and join the adventure. Enrollments until April 3th.
